Looking at my current projects, my artistic ingenuity unveils the delicacy of the relationship between the physical present and a distant sense of identity. Each stroke is an intimate nuance with the invisible world where my dreams and memories interpenetrate. The layers of color derive from an itch to confront, destruct, and revise, resulting in an arrangement of navigating difficult experiences, such as disenfranchised grief and shame, with grace. Rather than imitating forms that belong to the physical plane, shapes and colors reproduce through my imagination like a child’s search for paradise.
